Privacy policy

Last updated 6 November 2026. Tara Ko Sab Hai Pata is operated by Aditya Vikram Lath (Sole proprietorship), the Data Fiduciary under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.

What we collect

• Your email address (to log you in and send your report).
• The text of the chat you choose to upload. Your export file is read on your device; photos, videos and voice notes never leave your phone.
• Long numbers (phone, Aadhaar, card, account numbers), emails and messages mentioning passwords/OTPs are hidden on your device before upload.
• Payment status from our payment processor (we never see your card or UPI PIN).
• Basic usage analytics and error logs.

Why

Only to generate and deliver the report you asked for, answer follow-up questions you buy, prevent abuse, and improve the service. We never sell your data and never use your chats to train AI models.

Who processes it

Hosting and database (Vercel, Supabase — India region), AI text processing (Anthropic, servers may be outside India), email (Resend), payments (Razorpay), analytics (PostHog), error monitoring (Sentry). Each is bound to process data only on our instructions.

How long we keep it

• Uploaded chat text: deleted automatically once your report's working notes are built (minutes).
• Working notes used for follow-up questions: deleted after 30 days.
• Your reports: kept until you delete them. You can delete everything at any time.

Other people in your chat

Chats include messages from other people. Upload only chats you are part of, and use reports for your own personal understanding.

Your rights

You can access, correct or erase your data and withdraw consent at any time by emailing adi.buildsthings@gmail.com. You must be 18 or older to use Tara Ko Sab Hai Pata.
